This guide was born from the initiative “Racconta il tuo borgo e ripartiamo viaggiando in Italia” of the traveler and blogger Andrea Petroni from VoloGratis.org, who launched it during the lockdown on social media channels. It was written both to satisfy the need of traveling we all feel and in order to give voice to all the small towns and to our national tourism.

Traveling around our small towns is good for our heart and for our soul and this guide will introduce us to the discovery of amazing hidden places, that are at the same time incredibly close and fascinating. This book gathers a precious selection of villages and interesting anecdotes about the people who live there, with the aim of being part to the rebirth of our country.
